Furniture
Yay I sold the last piece of furniture today. All I have left is a glider and 2 bar stools that a coworker is taking. 2 weeks from yesterday Steve will be moving to Columbia. Things are quickly coming together. I only have 4 days off of work left, so 4 days worth of major cleaning and packing the car and getting last minute things done. Oh me oh my it will be here before you know it!

3 weeks
3 weeks from today I hit the road and head East. The most exciting news is that Geanya is taking a week off of work and driving with me for a much needed road trip and mini vaca. I am so happy to have someone willing to drive out there with me. She is a fabulous car buddy as we have been on plenty of road trips in the past. We just made plans yesterday to meet up with Amy and her daughter Emily. All 3 of us went to nursing school together, but Amy moved away after nursing school due to her husbands military transfer. She will only be 5 hours from me, and we are so excited to know we get to see her at the end of our long drive and all 3 of us explore DC together. I am hoping that Caitlin has time off so join us in the DC exploration. As plans are coming together for the big move, I am dreading cleaning. I find myself going to the gym more so I can avoid it. It's like the last major thing I got to do here and I keep procrastinating saying "oh I have plenty of time". But in reality I have 4 days off before we leave, that's not alot of time...so tonight's job is to take the nails off the wall haha talk about starting small! I have sold all the furniture except the couch. I guess it's time to lower it's price on craigslist...

Trash Becomes Treasure
Ever heard of the quote, "one man's trash is another man's treasure?" This is what my weekend has been centered around. A old hobby of mine use to be to go garbage hunting and find old furniture that I can fix, pain and reupholster. I use to love to do this, and haven't really done it since living in Missouri. Well this weekend Steve and I took old chairs, dinning room table, and coffee table and made it beautiful. I love doing this and this has definitely turned my wheels in my head with ideas of what I can do when I go out east in just 3 weeks!

3 years old!
My puppy turned 3 years old in December, and today we finally had her yearly check-up, and I know you all are dying to know the latest Cady updates...haha! Drum roll...she is 87.5lbs! She lost 1/2 lbs in the past 6 months, and she is at the ideal weight of that which a St Bernard should be! She got her yearly shots, heart worm, fecal and urinary test, Everything came back quite normally, so Cady got an extra treat today! And now she is passed out on the floor running in her sleep probably chasing a cat...

Bye-Bye Crap!
Well grandpa arrived today, and we loaded the uhaul trailer within 30-45 minutes. We didn't think that we would have enough space, since uhaul made us downgrade to a 5x8 instead of a 6x12. When I first saw it I was thinking there was no way at all the bed and loveseat would sit let alone the other stuff I packed. But I grew up in the military, we moved so many times I can't even count, and I can't even begin to tell you that I know how to pack a truck. It's just like a big puzzle. And that is what this required today. And let me tell you that it just we did. Every single thing fit into the trailer. And we didn't even have to pack anything into the car except pictures. Now let's just hope we can do the same thing in a month when everything left has to pack into my car with Cady!

D-Day #1
There are 2 D-Day's coming up. That are pivot for my relocating to the East Coast. #1 is my crap being moved via uhaul trailer and #2 me and Cady being moved via umm my car! Well D-Day #1 is coming upon us very quickly, and that is on Friday. My grandfather contacted me this weekend and wants to come down and take my stuff on Friday across country. So I spend today moving all the boxes to the garage so it will be ready to load. All I have left to do for Friday is to take the pictures off the wall and wrap it in bubble wrap. I cant get myself to do it. It's one thing to go through everything I own and box it up, but it's completely different to take pictures down and wrap them up. To me that's finality (besides cleaning!). When I want a place to be homey and "me", I put pictures up. So taking them down will be like a no-turning back zone. Oh well off to take them down...

100 Days
Well today is day 100 of the new and healthy me! I have lost 37 pounds total; reached and went past then maintained my first/Christmas goal, and lost 34.8 inches from head to toe. I have learned that the wave might be my favorite exercise machine, but that the elliptical can be my friend, that I can actually jog, I love water aerobics, and as of today that I can do 600 steps on an aerobic stepper in 30 minutes. I have also learned that I like vegetables but love fruit more, and that it is crucial to count calories and watch what you put in your mouth, and more importantly burn calories. I have come a long way in 100 days, and can barely tell a difference when I look at myself. Here is a new picture of me, same shirt, can you tell a difference?

Resignation
Though I have only told a few people at work that I am moving, it has spread like wildfire, so I decided I needed to go ahead and put in my resignation notice. I was going to wait another week or 2, but I want to tell my bosses and not let them here it from anyone else. So I sat down, wrote the letter, with an ending date of February 15th. I want to be out in D.C. by Jessica's birthday on the 21st, and then Alex is leaving for ranger school that week, and Wilna's having a birthday shortly there after. So February 15th has now become my last day of work, making me leave the life that I have known it for the past 6 years on either the 16th or 17th, but probably the 17th due to last minute cleaning and what not.

C25K
Today I started the C25K program. Today I was suppose to warm up for 5 minute with a brisk walk, followed with intervals of jogging for a minute then brisk walking for 90 seconds and doing this in intervals for up to 20 minutes, followed by a 5 minute cool down of walking. One would think that jogging for 60 seconds isn't bad, but for me this was a challenge. But I can proudly say I did it. And then I went to water aerobics for 45 minutes. I so badly want to love to run, to have a passion for it, but let me tell you I so don't have it right now! Today is my 95th day of my new healthy lifestyle, with 37 lbs down. In 6 weeks I am moving, and I want to be at 50 lbs by then...Hmm 6 weeks and 13 lbs is definitely dueable it I keep doing what I am doing. Anyways off to the po-po I go, just wanted to fill you in with my soon to be new passion in life...haha

New Years Resolutions
Happy New Years! Midnight just came a few minutes ago, so it's officially 2011. This past year has sucked for many reasons, and I am looking for 2011 to be oh so much more better! With it getting better there of course has to be some resolutions to make it bigger and better...
1) Flirt with the 100's by 2012.
2) Run a 5k. I star the c25k on Monday!
3) Drink half my body weight in water every day.
4) No soda, no fast food, and no processed foods.
5) Read through the entire Bible to deepen my relationship with God.
6) Find a church home.
7) Go on a date, and feel confident about myself.
8) Drop the occasional cussing.
9) Move to the East Coast.
10) Maintain financially stability. Continue to balance my check book, clear some debt away, and build on the savings account.
Hmm it's after midnight, and I can't think of anything else at this point. I got the fabulous idea from Briana to frame my list so that I see it everyday, so I don't give up or forget about it. So that's exactly what I did. Happy New Years, may it be the best year of your life!
